UNTITLED: WIP



Update: Got teeth, little details on helmet and skin




Inspired by a tutorial by Kotyukh, I tried sculpting this creature and have learned so much. It's still a work in progress, a lot of stuff still to be added, like the teeth, skin details, helmet details, drool (perhaps). Still a lot of things to learn. I'm excited how this creature would end up.

OTR UPDATE



Since I got a lot of free time to spare, I hand-painted the creature's skin in Zbrush and created a simple environment for it to rest on. Composite was done in Nuke (defocus) and Photoshop.

This is an update, since I still got more free time to spare, I just had to make a new hide texture for this creature.

It's finally done. I decided to put some color to it and I'm pretty happy with the result. Models and textures are done in Zbrush and rendered out in Maya. A little touch up in Photoshop.

ON THE ROCKS

This model is a work-in-progress. I'm really enjoying building up the details on this creature. There's a couple more teeth to model and perhaps details for the hide. I am hoping when I'm done with it, I'm not to lose the fine details once it's in Maya. I'm still torn weather I am going to texture it or have it say like bronze; we'll see.

I tried texturing and lighting this character realistically and here's what I got. I used Zbrush for textures and normal maps and used Maya for the final render. Post work was done in Photoshop.

Head model was downloaded from TurboSquid. Accessories were modeled in Maya and the turban in Zbrush.
