BLOMMIES

BLOMMIES

This is one of my fur tests for a project with a friend of mind that unfortunately did not push through since both of us have other commitments to attend to. But it was fun test though.

NANO

NANO

It's been a while since I had a post here. This recent image above is my new test using nanomesh in Zbush for a fabric. I rendered this out using Maya mentalray. This is just a personal exercise.

PREPASS

A friend from IF has taught me how to render animation prepass to animation rendering in Vray for Maya to get rid of flickers from animation. It's worth remembering so I had to put it here for reference.

Sir Eph, thanks for the settings!

BUBBLE TEST

This is my second bubble test. I used the same textures but this time using Vray Materials and Lights. Here's what I got. I think this is  looking much better than the once I did using Arnold when it comes to having the bear looking more frothy and soapy. The old version is more on the airy side and bubbly. But I guess both renders are looking fine.

BUBBLE TEST

This is a bubble test render I did for a possible commercial project with a friend. He asked me to make tests if I can do a bubble render. So far here is what I got. I render this out in Maya using Arnold. I need to separate the alpha for the fading fringe of the bubbles since I can't find the OPACITY for the SSS material in Arnold for Maya2013. There's an OPACITY  for the SSS material in Arnold for Maya2015, but the parameters are quite different so I stayed in Maya2013, which I am more familiar with. So far, here's what I got. I need to test out another but this time using Vray in Maya.

POSTERS

Not exactly an actual ad, but I did a little test on putting my 3D animals with real photographs (downloaded stock photos) with the HARTIA TOYS logo in it.
My goal here is just simply to merge the 3D elements as seamlessly as I can.
